I know nothing about these 3 fellas but at least we don't get the Glouftsis experiment

I wonder if Mr Glouftsis gets to experiment ?

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

All of the omitted players were very poor last week & I have been a Long supporter but was really ordinary last week not as bad as Jake but needed to be dropped & Lonie wasn't as bad as the other 2 but IMO is not AFL standard & I was very surprised when he got a contract extension but that is IMO only I know he has supporters I'm just not one of them

About time they dropped Long and Lonie. It's been a Long Lonie night!

Glouftsis is a shocking umpire. The experiment should be finished.

Does the fact I find myself agreeing with the outs more than I do the ins, somehow transcend the collective feeling we all feel...this is precariously balanced isn't it.

No feel for the game, I'm afraid. A dud, maybe that;s why someone on here likes her so much.

I think she's a nice looking umpire but that's it. Unfortunately her skillset doesn't match her elegance.

The Hawthorn team on paper is a lot more talented and capable than ours is today. Consider these names:

Gunston
Shiels
O'Brien
McEvoy
Breust

Multiple premiership players, every one.

While we are missing our two best midfielders in Gresham and Hannebery.

Don't believe the hype, this match is no gimmee, and if we win it will be hard earned.

Come on samurai, I usually agree with your posts but Hannebery as one of our best?
The Swans Hannebery was a champion, elite mid. Our Hannebery has played 13 butt average uninspiring games in 2 & 1/4 seasons and will be lucky to pull on the jumper again.

Gresh is an important player, but I'll take Steele over the two of them every day of the week.

Better having deboy umpiring our match than degirl umpire.

Fair enough, I prefer Gresh as a forward actually.

I just hope we can go in with an uncompromising mindset today.

Joffa says Hannas isn't one of our best midfielders, and at the Swans, he was elite.
Agree 100%.
13 games, fairly uninspiring; the EF he did a handful of nice things.

Hannas' efforts remind me of a Formula 1 driver who was a world champion, who is now in an uncompetitive car, usually at the back of the starting grid, and posts regular DNF (did not finish) and when he posts the fastest lap at Monza, the media might say 'oh, he's still got it!'
Just like when Hannas picked out Lonie on HF in the EF, with an awesome pass.

Yeah.

2020 was an aberration, when we travelled twice to Adelaide and won both, beat Tigers early, beat our bogey Swans. 2021 we've returned to our old ways. Damn
