Time to tap the recruiters on the shoulder ... the balance isn't right - they've recruited too many of the same type of players - too many small forwards, too many inside midfielders and a team with average pace and below average skills.

Right now early last quarter and hard ball gets are 112-109. Uncontested possessions are 256-131. We’ve won 5 quarters for the year. We are kidding themselves if they think they’re fit enough to play league football.

Ratts wants the players to be accountable, I saw a lot more effort tonight but no plan, no semblance of system whatsoever. I want Ratts to be accountable and explain to the fans why we have lots of footballers (professionals who presumably know how to play) but no team.

Samoht is on the money recruiting has been poor to many plodders, had a chance at Rozee, Petraca and the Bont but preferred others. Time to start at the mid season draft and add some pace and skill. Watched Sandy Saturday and there’s not much there so it’s a long haul to field a competitive team.
