Re: Mid Field
Surely on that display Dunstan gets his chance? Need some hardness around the ball.

Re: Mid Field
They do not look fit enough.
Maybe Hanners winning the time trial was a sign.

Re: Mid Field
Marshall will definitely help if fit. He’s our best player IMO.
Just a pity we can’t clone him as we need him at CHF as well as in the ruck.
Our forward structure is very poor without a strong, smart player up there to take the heat off King.
Any news on Ryder? We desperately need both him and Marshall.

Re: Mid Field
In's Dunstan in for sure , Bytel & Webster Out's Obviously Gresham & maybe Jones if he doesn't get up if Jones plays Sinclair & Lonie out. Can't see the point of risking Marshall & I doubt they will too important too risk ATM

Re: Mid Field
We had too many inside mids last year, then we go out and get Crouch who’s a good player but he’s another inside mid.
IMHO I seriously doubt the club would’ve recruited Crouch if they could’ve foreseen the difference the man on the mark rule has made, making outside speed even more important.

Re: Mid Field
At the moment Treloar at the Saints would be another boo boy. Never gets the ball, always under pressure and rarely kicks a goal. Crouch at the doggies would be hailed as a clearance king and 30+ magnet.
The real question is Ratts v's Bevo.

It's yet another example of ignoring what we need to recruit and recruiting more of what we don't need.
Waste and duplication (quadruplication more like it) ... instead of targeting quality, and aiming for a balanced team based on what we need and what is missing.
How many inside midfielders, average small forwards and half back flankers have the incompetents recruited.
Can't they see what they're doing - where's the planning, quality control and common sense?
In an iq test, our recruiters would be trying to wedge and hammer multiple square pegs into each of the round holes - that's how dumb they are.
How are they still there, and who is overseeing what they're doing?
