Since we have been allowing Hill to get away with bruise free footy it has crept in that is is "optional" to go hard at the footy and the player.

But the midfielders aren't converting to clearances with a 17-12 deficit.

2nd quarter we had 7 intercept marks to 2, but could only convert 1 for a goal.

72% of our kicks inside 50 hit their target compared to Bombers 54%.

So why are we losing?

Overall they have converted 9 intercept marks for goals whilst we have converted 2.

They've converted centre clearances to goal assists 50% more than we have.

We are taking a mark and immediately playing on at a frenetic pace often to no advantage or to a player under pressure.

Our defence is actually great with balls coming inside 50 but running into space from midfield assists inside 50 we are getting stung.

We aren't likely to win but we can definitely regain some self confidence now! C'mon lads.

It's interesting watching the young, non rated teams like Adelaide and Sydney and look at their effort and intensity around the ball. We would get mauled by Adelaide right now. My Under 11 girls team I coach show more effort. Footy's simple, it's just effort.

We adapted to the hub better than most teams, we were high on confidence after beating Richmond our Game Plan caught a few teams off guard and we worked hard off the ball

Teams have cottoned on to our Game Plan and hold their back 6
They know we fold back so they don’t bomb it forward to Howard and Wilkie
