Steele single handedly keeping us in it.
You could drop about 12 blokes from this team next week.

It looks like we are not prepared or something. Watching Hill for three pathetic kicks...I can't imagine what Mr. Ratten will say to them now...but it won't be nice.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Two things
It's an emotional build up when you've got legends of the footy club presenting in front of our blokes and every player new Spud as well
The other thing is that every year you get poorer skills in the early rounds of footy

As frustrating as Hill has been tonight and for his whole time at the Saints I still like that he demands that ball.
Shows he's still backing himself.
Seriously needs a massive kick in the butt though and as others have suggested perhaps some time at Sandy is in order because it's not good enough right now.

And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

What can you say? Terrible game. So many passengers, so much horrendous decision making.
We don’t deserve to be this close, Melbourne have been bad too.

We recruited Higgins to play in the mids throw him in there. Mix up our midfield we are just not working hard enough.
We have no energy no run, we will be lucky if this doesnt blow out in the last.

Our players have been directed to give it to Hill at every opportunity and you are starting to see that they no longer have the faith in himroskilde wrote: ↑Sat 27 Mar 2021 9:24pm As frustrating as Hill has been tonight and for his whole time at the Saints I still like that he demands that ball.

2 words.
Turnover city.
Turnover city.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Match thread v Melbourne
In the first quarter, deep in the back pocket, that is exactly what look like happened....and this is even worse, because it looked like Hill was not expecting the pass. He woke up like he was getting an electric shock. totally unprepared and immediately passed it directly to a Dees forward.saintbob wrote: ↑Sat 27 Mar 2021 9:27pmOur players have been directed to give it to Hill qt every opportunity and you are starting to see that they no longer have the faith in himroskilde wrote: ↑Sat 27 Mar 2021 9:24pm As frustrating as Hill has been tonight and for his whole time at the Saints I still like that he demands that ball.
