Reckon Dunstan if anyone could come on late and make a difference

16-7 frees in a game we lead.

Lonie gets a 50 for a blatant push that was so obvious Elani could almost see it.

Higgins goal easy call to make

Membrey gets one they’ve missed 4

A few points.

1. Eleni is the worst umpire in the game. Without a doubt. No understanding of how a game is going to be played in these conditions.
2. Ben Long has been very, very good.
3. Hunter has rucked pretty well, considering all you hear is Darcy and BT flogging themselves over the other bloke.
4. Need to be in front of your man at each stoppage. FFS this is Auskick stuff.
5. We can win this. I had doubts considering our injuries... but we can and should win this.

44-27 tackles our way. Good to see. If the umps started pinging the scoops off the ground we would be pulling away.

McKenzie has done some good things as has Long.

Steele playing his usual grunt game.

Are Ross, Gresham & Billings playing? Seems they always go missing in physical games.

Highmore it's his first game, but doesn't look up to the speed of the game.

Hunter was better in that 1/4. Flynns leap advantage is lessoning in the wet.

I hate that we are so late to react on kicks. Wet balls always drop short play in front even in defence and read it off the boot.

Billing’s has 15 to half time.

Billings has had 15 possessions, second behind Steele on 17 but some players need to lift like Sinclair and Butler and possibly Gresham.

We ne to move the ball forward but still need to look or put it along the ground like the tigers do and hawks used to on wet days. Blindly kicking forward has resulted in about 10-15 easy marks to them.

Gresham needs to stop those checkside kicks into the F50.

3. Hunter has rucked pretty well, considering all you hear is Darcy and BT flogging themselves over the other bloke.Wouldn't expect anything less from BT
4. Need to be in front of your man at each stoppage. FFS this is Auskick stuff.Yes. Frustrating.

I don't think I have to defend Long anymore...he has shut up a few inept football brains on here now.

Is there a side that isn’t suited to the wet more than us. Set up for high speed high skill to be in the game shows the character this group has.

Its not just his possessions. He's been clever around the ball.

At least two or three knock ons to advantage and his positioning has been top notch.

If only some of our other players would show the same passion and intensity.

That one on one in the 1st Quarter was pure grit and class and nearly got us a goal.

Great player.

Very early contender for the pot JB at any cost Award. Time to turn your telly on Impatient one.

Opposition would be afraid to go for the ball

Close to BOG IMO. At least on impact/effect

Great effort. I’m surprised Dunstan wasn’t picked in these conditions for the exact reason.

Atrocious umpiring. It's just embarrassing. I'm thunderstruck by that last set of decisions.
