season 1997 video help please

Hello

Hoping that someone on here can possibly assist me, i am trying to obtain some games from season 1997, full games, not replays.

There are a couple on youtube, but i am more interested in finding someone who may have them and can provide me with dvd copies, i can probably find old saints games to offer in exchange if that interests anybody.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Austinn Jones was AA in 1997 and again in 2004. If you can bear to look, watch his skills in 2004 with foot and hand, 60 metre passes with the left or right foot and 15 metre hand passes with either hand - and strong handpasses too. Throughout 2004, teams realised they they needed to tag him (especially PA) which reduced his effect somewhat, but his ability to pick up the loose ball, and his pace, meant that such efforts could not be 100%.

Sorry can't help with DVD's but I was just looking at the 'AFL Classics' section of Kayo and they have heaps of '97 Saints games in high quality. Maybe you could find the games you want there.

Edit: Correction 2 as of now -- got a bit carried away -- the Sydney game at the SCG and the final against North Melbourne. They rotate different games through though so with patience and a bit of luck you could have all the games you need and put them on your own DVD.

I think back in 1997 it would have been on VHS as I don’t think the matches were available on DVD.
