No, you were right. Three first-rounders - 13, 15 and 20 - plus a future fourth rounder. They get back two future second round picks

Mmm... disappointed to lose him. Thought he was the best of Lonie, Kent, Marsh etc But to be honest... don’t rate any of them particularly highly.

Re: Essendon offer for Hind
I would've kept him to spite essendon or give him to another team.
Hind has had 1 good game and is 26.
Nice for depth but he has an opportunity to play more now. Every measurement has Lonie way ahead of him and he's gonna find it hard now too..

Re: Essendon offer for Hind
IT HAPPENED
Hind + pick 77 for picks 67 +74
Hind + 0 for 69 + 0 points
Hind for 69 points = pick 67
Hind has basically been given away to assure he gets to where he wants to go.
St Kilda would most likely have been forced to delist him to meet the maximum list size.

He would have been delisted if the druggies didnt take him.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 3:13pm DONS MAKE HIND OFFER - 2.30PM
Tom Morris reports...
Essendon has tabled a fourth round pick for St Kilda speedster Nick Hind.
Foxfooty.com.au understands the Saints are weighing up the proposal up.
The Bombers like Hind’s pace and believe they could potentially get him via the pre-season draft if needed.
Hind played VFL for Essendon in 2017 and 2018 but was overlooked before joining the Saints as a mature age recruit.
He played 10 matches in 2020 but fell out of favour late in the campaign.
I know he is not contracted but surely he is better than any kid we are going to get in the 60-70's at the draft. I rate him higher than Lonie & Kent and Lonie has a 1 year contract in front of him. This not knowing what the list sizes are going to be is ridiculous - so unprofessional by the AFPA & AFL.

Re: Essendon offer for Hind
Sorry mate but you harve to accept that the coaches have a much higher regard for Seb than you do.Saintmatt wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 10:15pmFair team. The only change I’d make to that is Sinclair for Ross. Modern footy is about ball retention as much as anything else - you simply cannot afford to give it back when you get it. Sincs may not get it as much as Ross; but he’ll not give it back when he gets it either.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 9:57pmCouldn't agree more, I'm a Jack Lonie fan and for his size and athletic limitations he's a gun.SaintPav wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 9:48pmGood analysis.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 9:42pmNeither are good enough to be in a premiership team IMO.saintbob wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 9:16pmI call bulls***, have you read the s*** people continually write about how good Lonie is?Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Wed 11 Nov 2020 8:30pm Hind is the most overrated player on this forum in my humble opinion.
He wasn't deemed good enough to get a game in the finals and is behind whipping boys Kent & Lonie in the pecking order.
He has some breakaway speed but he's not super quick at all and a very decent depth player, but hes certainly a fair way off best 22 IMO.
Lonie is a C grader @ best and has little upside at 24 after 76 games.
Hind is a D grader at very best and at 26 with very little upside IMO.
Lonie is clearly superior to Hind haven been chosen in the two finals ahead of Hind.
Really Kent, Hind & Lonie are all fringe AFL at best IMO.
There is no shame in being a C grader in the AFL.
Lonie will be a depth player if we land Higgins.
There is some decent talent that wont fit into the best 22 next year:
My best 22 - if they stay fit and play well that team could be top 4.
Paton Howard Wilkie
Long Carslile Coffield
Hill Crouch Clark
Billings Marshall Gresham
Membrey King Butler
Ryder Steele Jones
Battle Hannebery Ross Higgins
EMG: Sinclair Dunstan Lonie Marsh Geary Kent Phillips Roberton Savage Bytel Byrnes Webster McKernan
Can't find a spot for last years captain in my starting 22
Leadership group: Steele Howard Membrey Billings Wilkie Marshall
