Treloar has done a medical with the Dogs.
They were particularly interested in his hammies.
They maybe able take him if Collingwood is prepared to eat humble pies.
Pay a sizeable part of his salary over the next 5 years and not be too demanding in a trade.

Where has this come from? Not seen it anywhere ?
I’ve spotted this on FB
Same source suggests that Higgins deal will be done tomorrow and the only place left interested in Lonie is Carlton

I am not sure Treloar will be going anywhere.
Surely, Treloar to the doggies only happens if the Dunkley moves goes ahead.
It is being reported that the Dogs refuse to budge on two good first round picks and Dedoro probably offering a Mars bar and a can of coke.
If Stevenson to North goes ahead, which looks a reasonable chance, the Pies probably keep Treloar also.

Have always rated Treloar. Not looking forward to seeing him run around in a Bulldogs jumper.
Given we were Treloar's first choice after staying at the Filth, pretty sure Treloar is going to feel mildly ill driving the 5 mins from his Cheltenham home past Moorabbin on the way to that shitehole that homes the Dullbogs on the other side of that tremendously reliable and traffic-free West Gate Bridge. Poor bastard
Ok, take this with a grain....my mate Robbie ( I know you're not on here but you're still a bastard, pay me the $90 from poker) he claims our mutual mate let slip we are chasing both Treloar & Higgins hard.
I am thinking b.s. I can't see us affording Treloar. But he says Pies offered $350k in yr 1 and $275k yr 2-3, $250k yr 4-5 and no picks or players.
This has the stench of a desperate summabitch who can't play poker, loves the Saints, and wants a deal worse than he wanted to get the 2004 Saints playing card set ( its still $500 if you want it).

That’s not far off the money of Treloar from what I know - Pies offer was an average of $250K over each year of Treloar’s 5yr contract. But the pick/players part is way out. The Pies wanted at least 1 first rounder for him (which is fair enough) and probably late pick swaps.
But we’ve committed to Higgins and we couldn’t shift Webster, Dunstan, Ross or Robbo to free up cap space and accumulate enough picks to trade into a 1st round pick for Treloar.
If we can get Higgins, Crouch and McKernan and still keep our 1st RDP - we’ll have done exceedingly well. IMHO
.....we turn our attention to Adam Treloar. I can tell you guys we are in with a better than 50% chance. Hind is going to Essendon and we are looking at backending a couple of our existing players contracts. The last 2 dominos that need to fall is Lonie and Dunstan. If and when Lonie and Dunstan are traded, Treloar is ours. Take this to the bank or take it with a grain of salt. The choice is yours. But you heard it here first.
Damn .... sorry to dissppoint but you are the 8th person I have heard this from .... no actually the 9th .... forgot about the slightly hairy dear old cat lady across the road
I cant imagine how excited you probably were to break the news but maybe next time ....... appreciate the effort though
Moving Dunstan on might be the hardest thing to do during trade period. I can't imagine there'd be any club prepared to give up a useable draft pick for him. Also, the fact that Treloar has done a medical for the Bulldogs indicates where that situation is heading. From a salary cap management perspective it makes no sense for us to pursue him. If he was in his early 20s with no injury history it would make more sense, but he does a hammy with monotonous regularity and has other issues it seems.

I'm on my way to my mates place to confirm that what he told me is true.
Fill us all in?
We are trading our 1st round pick?
