Re: Devon Smith
If we got him cheaply he would be a win, but when did Dodoro do anything when he wasnt trying the shaft the other clubs.
Otherwise he is not the clearance midfielder we need.

Re: Devon Smith
A bit happening but decided a while ago wouldn't be sharing information here due to the toxic nature of some people.

Is DeGoey a goey ?
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
If you are not engaging AI actively and aggressively, you are doing it wrong.
You are not going to lose your job to AI.
You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.
Your company is not going to go out of business because of AI.
Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

Re: Devon Smith
That's a shame that the few ruin it for the many. Would be welcome information and mods should be doing their job to protect folks like Jaxon, who is one of the few "ITK" I trust.

Re: Devon Smith
Unfortunately a few prominent forumites decided to play which ITK do I prefer and have repeatedly attacked Jaxons for absolutely no valid reason beyond their own petty BS and chased Jax off to the detriment of the forum

Re: Devon Smith
Well the good news is then that there is a bit happening.
You probably don't wish to share but from what has been said by the club, plus the delistings announced it would seem as a minimum that we will be chasing:
- One or two genuine inside mids (Caldwell would seem to be one key target
- A key forward
- A ruck capable of playing at AFL level now (ie must be better than Abbott)

Re: Devon Smith
Apart from the attacks it is also that some forumites refuse to understand that nothing is always concrete, and that things may, and indeed do, change.
ie We may say have Caldwell keen to join us, but then say the Dons offer $200K per year more. Or GWS lose some mids, and up their offer to Caldwell who also might think that he will get more game time.

Yep. Unfortunately some people get off on attacking others to cover their own insecurities..

Re: Devon Smith
Indeed this is true. Real shame. I for one valued and enjoyed your input Jaxons. Throw us a bone now and then and ignore the rude individuals.

Re: Devon Smith
Just a comment on “mods should be doing their job”. Posters have to play their part by reporting posts they think are inappropriate. Unreasonable to think the mods will read every thread.

Re: Devon Smith
Any chance of a PM Jaxons?
I can then post it - more than happy to act as a conduit and take a hit if it comes my way

Why not just tell us some names we are considering, making it clear that nothing is confirmed

Re: Devon Smith
Yes, it's a shame so many people want to engage in personal attacks, particularly in cases where nothing is written that could possibly justify such vitriol. It doesn't take much effort to be civil and courteous.

Re: Devon Smith
Isn't Stras just another name for devon?
Devon has different names depending which state you are in. Fritz, German for example
