Higgins will be 33.
Seems you like old men with little future left.
Why not me, I am only 68.
I won't be able to train or play but my name would look good on the list.
I am a free agent.

Devon Smith looked good to me. Can snap 50m goals off a step and is a tackling machine.

What have posters got against him apart from being a Bombers player?

We can only offer you $400,000 a year ace, but you'll get to lead the team song. Deal?

Probably the 5 years it will take to decontaminate.

Devon Smith is 27 so the Higgins comparison is ridiculous. Pretty sure he won the AFL tackle count last year or the year before too. He is a good small forward and can play mid. Does kick goals.

Would you rather Devon Smith as a small forward over Lonie and Kent?
Very sure any Saints fan would.

We went after him when the Bombers got him.

Not at all well liked. Barely tolerated. Hugely misplaced ego.

There’s some bad Juju going on at the Bombers.

Our culture appears to be great atm, sometimes one bad apple spoils the barrel.

So it depends on why he’s leaving? Is he leaving to get away from the bad culture there, or is he part of the bad culture?

We’ve got a good thing going, we’ve got to be careful who we bring in.

Fug- you know the stories of Bummers players refusing to play in positions the Coaches want? No 5 is the leader of that movement.

(PS - Saad wasn’t one of them and the Druggies pinned that on him on the way out)

Before his injury, Smith was dominating for Essendon. He's a very good footballer.
