Just imagine what he would go for if he had of been driving his carDevilhead wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 1:27am
Lynch has no eyes for the ball firstly - this is very clear
Carless conduct - could easily go Intentional
High contact - elbow to head
Medium to High impact - head split open
Potential to cause Injury - High - though this is only used for Ben Long so will not be taken into account
Final deliberation - 1 to 2 weeks - depending on Impact grading

I wonder whether Ben Long would’ve been given the same punishment? That’s Lynch’s fifth penalty this year.

Second Only according to the MRP Statement:
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Misconduct. The incident was classified as a $1250 sanction as a second offence. The player can accept a $750 sanction with an early plea.

What about that grub Cotchin?

That's just pure crap as he was cited three times in just two matches earlier in the season.Sainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 5:48pmSecond Only according to the MRP Statement:

Re: Will AFL review Cotchin, Lynch and 3rd umpire?
Wow so they didn't even look at Lynch's elbow to the back of Paton's head which split him open
Footage clearly shows he didn't have eyes on the ball and his arm was bent
Paton with blood flowing from his head has to go off for treatment
If that was Carlisle it would be minimum 2 weeks

Bad umpiring cost us 4 goals from the goal square. All four decisions were blatant and in full view of the umpires. The deliberately chose to cheat and not pay them.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 5:33pmIt cost us what?Leo.J wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 5:23pmOur mistakes don’t make the bad umpiring exceptable.CQ SAINT wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 5:18pmTrue, except for the 5 easy goals we missed.Leo.J wrote: ↑Sat 10 Oct 2020 9:28am The umpires had a very bad night, missed a lot of frees more than usual...and it definitely helped one team more than the other.
Richmond play on the edge, they went over the line a lot last night. It’s the umpires responsibility to keep the game within the rules, they failed, and it cost us.
Our mistakes are irrelevant.
It only cost us because Richmond made the most of their scoring opportunities when it counted and we didn't. That is what cost us. Umpiring is rarely good.

Apparently - Misconduct is classified as different from striking.
"It is the fifth time this season that Lynch has attracted MRO attention for an incident.
He has had two fines for striking (Gold Coast's Sam Collins and Jarrod Witts), was fined for misconduct on Brisbane's Alex Witherden and was sent to the tribunal for a strike to Bomber Michael Hurley's neck."

Review complete
Only Lynch gets $750 fine for putting his knee into Howard's neck.
$750 that's like a $75 fine to most people.
Flogged, flogged, flogged with feather.
Time to feed the Christian to the lions and bring an independent muslim.

Does Michael Christian do press conferences or answer questions from reporters etc... He needs to explain and respond to the blantant inconsistencies over the past week.

2 sets of rules as highlighted UNBELIEVABLY by the AFL themselves when they tweeted to faun over Bolton giving the gall to Martin - which is against the rules for most teams

Can we appeal the result due to biased umpiring and cheating and ask for a rematch?
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

There’s no argument from me about what you’re saying regarding our chances. But that doesn’t mean the umpiring didn’t effect the outcome.
Richmond were good...we missed opportunities...but the umpires made poor calls, missed numerous frees and even screwed up the goal review which effected the outcome.
They allowed Richmond to step over the line without pulling them back, which gave them an advantage. Last week against the Lions they were pulled up on it, this week they got away with just about anything.

I'm very certain our wasteful set shot kicking had far more effect on the result than any decision made by those the umpires.
Again, not sure how we improve the umpiring but you know the rest.
No excuses.
