Lynch was a low act, but not as dangerous as the tackle on Zac Jones.
That dangerous neck-breaking/chin-dislocating tackle by Got-"chin" should have been reported

Oh well, Who wanted to win the Asterisk Cup anyway?

See the derisive/arrogant look on Cotchin's face after that tackle - no compunction/conscience at all.
The Bastard.

There is the core of a really good team here so let’s stop carrying spuds /underachievers and FFS can we get some midfield talent in finally???
Hit the trade table again hard
Be prepared to give up

Totally agree. Richmond were allowed to get away with all the stuff they didn’t get away with last week and that their coach called undisciplined. They were way more undisciplined this week. The holding of our players was just not what is normally allowed not to mention the ruck where their guy just jumped into Marshall and never went the ball . Didn’t think we would win thought we would be outplayed not bashed up. I’m disappointed that Richmond were allowed to do thiscwrcyn wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 10:45pm The goals that Richmond kicked in the first half. All but one were speculative shots and they all went through the big sticks. That doesn't happen very often, and i can guarantee you it won't happen next week. In the first quarter, Steele and Jones were held at every stoppage....zero free kicks. For those who think Ben Long is just average, I can guarantee you many of those centre clearances would not have happened if he was coming off the back of the square. Without Lynch, Richmond would have lost. We're not that far off, and Richmond have hit their peak and will not get better from here.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Semi Final 2020
No as bad as many are saying. First time i've been at a loss, but happy with our year.
Not much between the teams - they took their chances (and had luck all night with the bounce of the ball), we didn't. We were all over them in the third but two goals five cost us.
Only players to really disapoint were Marsh, who just isn't afl standard, and Billings, whom i saw twice stay out of a hard contest when he was clearly going to be the first saint to the ball. Not what you want in a final. Overall our intensity looked down across the field - just not hard enough at the ball generally. Steele excepted - a champ!
But signs are good. Proud of our year. Go Saints!

Yep and they scored 4.2 direct from it
Your backline under siege when the ball is just constantly zinging in there
Make no mistake we got smashed in midfield tonight yet won hit outs and hit outs to advantage....

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Semi Final 2020
Ryder Gresham Long Caldwell Bytel into this side would be huge.
Another year into the 20-22 year old brigade.
2021 Kent, Marsh, Savage and probably Geary need to make way.
Possibly Sinclair fighting Ross for that last spot.
I would love Taranto for the 10 year inside outside gun we really need to make us a power straight away.
Go hard Saints.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Semi Final 2020
Marshall is not a good ruckman at the centre bounces. Around the ground he would be the best ruckman in the league but not at centre bounces (not sure why you don't understand that). How many clearances in the centre did we win? Ryder has been providing silver service for our mids which, at least, goes some way into getting the ball into our forward line more quickly. Ryder can jump up of the ground at the right time and tap the ball. Marshall jumps way too early. His best bet in the centre is when he grabs the ball out of the ruck. Nankervis did that but Marshall didn't tonight. The Fireman wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 11:09pmYour comment on Marshall just about makes you totally irrelevant at the moment

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Semi Final 2020
What we’ve got is Richshit players cynically behaving badly and being awarded with ‘nothing to see’ while poor Ben Long gets penalised for going at the ball hard The AFL is challenging FIFA for the most corrupt sporting organisation on the planet.

Lonie should be the first to f*** off, along with Savage, Marsh, Parker and Dunstanfugazi wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 11:54pm Ryder Gresham Long Caldwell Bytel into this side would be huge.
