Chin up fellas. Swings and roundabouts.
Had perfect view of that goal. Even tigers around all agreed. Ump literally didnt see it cross the line.

Agree with this
I don’t think we’ve taken enough risk

Re: Match Thread Saints v Tigers Semi Final 2020
Let's look at the positives.
Richmond are the best team of the past 5 years or more. Even without some of our best players on the field, we aren't that far behind them. The bounce of the ball and the umpiring has gone their way big time tonight.
Several of the Richmond goals have come from very nervousness on our part: too many players running towards the ball, and the structure going to pieces.
I reckon we should be a serious threat next season.

I wonder if Curly has noticed the Umps are wearing Yellow and Black ?
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I think goal ump was scared of calling it a goal and knew the safety net of ARC would take the heat.

Agreed but here’s the thing. You need contributors.Teflon wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 9:01pmYep saw that he’s useless
But let’s face facts our midfield are deplorable
Can’t even scrounge a clearance without turning it over
We are B grade in there and we’ve neglected it for years
You pay a price against class
Jones has been ordinary but not alone Hannerbury awol
By not playing another defender, Wilkie has gone more defensive and that’s cost us run
Marsh and Kent can’t contribute and unfortunately Battle going down was the last straw

Wtf
We can’t clear for s***
I can’t see any upside...
Hannebery? We need you...Hill too...
Sincs is trying...MEmbrey too.

Then again how does a AFL umpire miss the 50 against Cotchin on Jones.

Tiger kicking straight so nothing you can do about that. Not happy that we picked battle and I am not just saying that in hind sight as a big risk that may now screw up his pre season. Either way we are playing final footy and I am stoked regardless

Nice in theory, but our flag tilt starts round 1 next year, and we need our full team up and firing. Play hard and fair and make them earn the win.

The missed Geary 50 was the costly one

I think we should worry about things under our control, like continually picking Kent!

Potential for injury off the charts.
Won't get looked at.

Bad idea to put Battle back on with that foot injury.
Potential long term damage doing that.
Should not have been selected

Whatever the sentiment, we don't have the players. We are too weak. The only thing that would happen of we tried to elbow a player is that our player would break his elbow.

Clark has to play second half in the middle instead of Jones. That is where he will be all next season, so might as well start nowTeflon wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 9:01pmYep saw that he’s useless

Billings is the senior player of the two by 5 years, he should definitely have kicked it.

They don't have to be elite, they just need to be fit to play, that would be preferable, if Logan and Clavarino are up to it then delist them and start againCURLY wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 9:04pmHow many clubs have two elite key backs let alone 3. Seb dropped his head twice that quarter.
Make of that what you will.
