Marsh did great job on Vlaustin in round 5 so he will play.
Battle in if fit.
Savage probably gets other spot.
Yep Marsh is big enough and fast enough up forward to make Richmond accountable and take some heat off King - I’d also at times throw him in the ruck......rest Marshall forward if he can pinch hit in there?
I like Austin for Carlyle
Marsh for paddy
I’d be tempted with Webster over Savage to replace Long as he’s reasonably quick good by foot and in a final can exert some physicality .....Savage worries me defensively....
I really don’t we should compare earlier in the year, round four, but if we must.
From match report AFL.com
Dan Butler and Jack Lonie were perhaps the biggest threats on the ground throughout Saturday's encounter, while Tim Membrey shouldered the burden of being the main target in attack nicely. Jonathon Marsh, playing a negating role on Richmond's elite crop of interceptors, was also solid as St Kilda moved the ball smoothly heading forward.
I watched the highlights again. Marsh wasn’t bad and remember Ryder didn’t play that after our Ollingwood drubbing.
Saddest thing is to see Carlises brilliant sprint and spoil on Lynch.
IN:
Bytel (to replace Clark in mid, as Clark goes back), Battle (for Carlisle), J. Marsh (For Marshall's forward role), Philips for Kent
I know a Semi is no time to be playing around, but trying to replace them like-for-like gets us Abbott, Battle, Savage, Hind.... (although I'd play Hind before Kent any day of the week, but I just reckon Philips has a bit to offer)
I reckon we'll see Savage in for Long
Battle comes in
Kent will stay
Need to find 1 more out of Roberton or Marsh. I'd like to see Roberton but considering his time out of the game and the fact that Marsh has played a couple it'll be Marsh in.

Clav - no chance sorry

Agree Clav is no chance, probably last chance than Robbo and Robbo's chances are somewhere between naught and zero.
Just watch the last quarter of the match between the saints and Tigers from earlier in the year.
Marsh did alright. Tap out in the ruck straight to Kent for a goal and a kick into the goal square marked by Membrey for another major. Kicked an earlier goal too but missed a sitter in the last when the ball skewed off his boot.
If we're going like for like to keep our current structure, we only have one other genuine ruckman on our list who is AFL ready (Bell and Alabakis still have their training wheels on).
So it's Abbott for Ryder (if Chol stays in their side as second ruck, instead of decoy full-forward, Austin for Carlisle and Webster for Long (although he's taller and a left footer, he is also accountable, fast and has a bit of mongrel in him).
If we're going more mobile (which we should vs tigers), it's King to pinch hit in the ruck when Marshall needs a breather, Battle (if fit) for Carlisle to lock down on Riewoldt, while Howard locks down on Lynch.
Savage to play as an attacking defender to cover for Long and I just can't come at Kent in the team either, so Roberton for Ryder and Webster for Kent, all for their experience.
In: Battle, Savage, Roberton, and Webster and hopefully they can do it for Roberton, Ryder and Carlisle, all of whom may not play on next year for one reason or other, although I hope Roberton and Ryder do (Carlisle is a dinosaur who plays like Gary Dempsey and its not the 1970s where a ruckman can keep drifting across the half back line to save the game).
Out: Ryder, Carlisle, Long and Kent
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!

I would pick him for the semi.
I think he will also come in,play the Marhall roll play forward and give a chop out in the ruck.Where does that leave Battle, playing back half on Riewolt. At least we have some options
Still cant pick between Marsh and Hind. I have real issues with Hind's output on his last few games and he had extra weeks to redeem.
Marsh I just dont have the trust that he can do that extra role in a final.
One thing is 100% sure with me for this week. Ratten has me 100% sold. Hook, line, sinker. Whatever they go with. Whoever they choose. I'm onboard with their plan.
I just think we can win this. I really do. There is something going on with this group.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
