Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 18 2020
Umpiring was pretty good tonight.
Cost us a goal with a rubbish free kick against in the goalsquare.
But most of their errors favoured us for a change!
Perhaps even CURLY would agree with this?

Carn the saints, git up ah, git on up...
Thought Paton was influential tonight, anyone else notice he delivered off both feet out of back half? Who else has done that in the past 35 years? A very solid player. Even Greene had to uppercut to get it done.
Clark, jobs yours son welcome to the centre square, please keep Steele warm whilst you are in there.
King and Lonie busy even though the stats dont say so.
Spoofer out. SLAINTE.

FINALS
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.
If you are not engaging AI actively and aggressively, you are doing it wrong.
You are not going to lose your job to AI.
You are going lose your job to somebody who uses AI.
Your company is not going to go out of business because of AI.
Your company is going to go out of business because another company used AI.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Giants Round 18 2020
The first half numbers were almost alarming.
How many times can you remember, EVER, being up 10-1 in free kicks.
GWS over possessed the ball in the first half though.
I think they had 40 more possessions than we did in the first QUARTER....
But they were handballing 2m and copping pressure. Then when they lost possession they were pretty loose.
Really the umps just paid what they saw.
Pretty remarkable.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

Out marked, out handballed, out kicked.
Killed them anyhow.
GWS is easily the worst coached team in the AFL.
Now they have missed finals is the time to remind the GWS superstars that they have re-signed their clown coach.
Maybe they would like to join a well coached club and play finals.

Leon only has 6 months to vacate the premises if need be, might be a handy get. Considering he used to chop us up as a player also.

Liked the look of the the post match tonight, not too overstated on ground but passionate in the rooms. The right message for where this club has been at for 6 weeks. Dont get ahead of yourselves.

Carlisle playing playing meant that Coff could be Coff, and Wilkie Wilkie. Our backline was way better balanced and it as a whole worked much better.
It was no accident that Wilke was back taking all those intercept marks again.
