Changes for the Elimination Final

Post: # 1870550Post SaintPelican66 »

Out Kent
In Jones

Would we consider any other changes?

No, not after a win like that. Jones in (if fit). Not sure who the OUT should be

If Lonie doesn’t come up I would bring Parker in

Lonie played out the game and was brilliant.
Plus he has 2 weeks to get cherry ripe.

Agree with that.

Savage, Bytel or Hind would probably get the nod, but I think Parker brings more danger and we should just go for it. Nothing to lose now.

Battle only had 5 possessions but I don't think they'd drop him for Jones (if fit). Probably Kent who must have had rubber padding on his guts in the first half the way the ball bounced of his chest there. I kept thinking of a cartoon BOING!! He played a lot better in the second half.

No injuries according to Ratten.

As much as I'm not a Kent fan I reckon it was his best team orientated game of the season so far. IMO I think Ratts said to him you really need to lift to keep your spot & I think he did & was pretty bloody good tonight

Ratten said no chance.

Nick made the comment - that is the first time since his debut season that Haynes has not taken an intercept mark.

Kent easily the first out if someone is dropped.

No goals
Fumbles
Slows play down
Only gets the ball when it’s gift wrapped for him

Him and Lonie are chalk and cheese...

I am on to it.
Just ordered a Cherry Ripe on line from Woolworths.
Should be delivered well within two weeks.

Kent was played further up the ground and more than earned his place.
The only guy I think that went missing was Carlisle.
Maybe he had a stopping role.
But as others have suggested we may have to slay a few giants in the finals and Carlilse has the height.

He didn't seem to contribute much tonight but he is guaranteed to play is Geary.
The club owes him.

He just needs to lose the trampoline he carries around that prevents him from marking the ball
