I read last night a post about raising money for the great man and his fight against the evil “ C” dis
ease. It floored me... my hero, the player that gave me more joy then any other footballer in my life time a man I worshipped for so many years..
I saw him at Frawleys funeral I was like a 6 year old kid seeing his favourite Marvel character.
The post was from regal crane hire that rawcorp is holding an event I hope it’s not true it mentioned raising money I just don’t see Plugger being a public person for this type of situation.
It says on the 8 th Nov they are organising a golf day as an event to help him beat the disease.
This news is nowhere I have had to read ten times to prove to myself I’m not seeing things or going crazy?!!
Has anyone heard the story about Plugger?

Only things I could find were these where he is raising money.

Plugger is raising money to help researchers find a cure for cancer.
He doesn't have cancer himself.

I can’t seem to copy and paste it but if he is just assisting in fund raising that’s great the way it’s written is very ambiguous last line is like “ come to such event and help Tony beat cancer.”
Very confusing.
Very confusing.

I would love to see cancer defeated.
It would statistically improve my life expectancy.
But so many people whose lives have been affected by cancer leads to so many organisations collecting and so many researchers.
This leads to so much duplication upon duplication.
It is an industry in itself with so many making a good living out of it for no added value.
Stick to the professional cancers research institutes and ignore all the rest.

When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Phew!
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
