I think it is exactly as the club has said. He was omitted after a poor game against Brisbane and hasn’t been able to win his spot back. Rightly or wrongly

Rather than mortar bombs into the F50, perhaps we can do it Geelong or Bulldogs style....tumbleweed rollers, scrubby bouncing awkward bouncing balls followed by a charging wave of infantry. Players like Kent and Hind suit that rather than the high lob and crumb the pack. Yeah, I haven't got a clue. Just venting because why is Carlisle not playing. Must be some attitudinal issue..something.

Eagles have almost all their preferred midfield out. If we can’t win tomorrow then we are no good. All the talk about the Eagles being no good in Queensland is crap. They’re just decimated with injury. Won’t be as vulnerable again for a long while. We must win

Someone said their 2018 premiership midfield is missing. 6 guys not there- Yeo, Shuey, Masten (he's retired) but look, their replacements might be equal or better. Not like when the Injectors had players banned for jabs1965 Saint wrote: ↑Thu 10 Sep 2020 12:18am Eagles have almost all their preferred midfield out. If we can’t win tomorrow then we are no good. I wonder if Hind is going to be used more as a winger seeing the WCE midfield has a few key players out- they might be a bit slower than us.

I don't think Ratts rates Hind enough to give him a wing, he only had 70% TOG against the Dees and not much has changed since that game. He's playing because there aren't any other options for loosely fit and match conditioned players.
Adam Simpson has virtually said to our club we can have the four points. We should win this easy.

How much are you wagering on the mighty Sainters? Do you go head-to-head or do you normally go the margins, like under 39.5?Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Thu 10 Sep 2020 7:44amI don't think Ratts rates Hind enough to give him a wing, he only had 70% TOG against the Dees and not much has changed since that game. Always head to head on the sure things and load up. I won big on the Hawks win. And then there is the speculatives that I roll into from winnings on sure things so I consolidated on the Crows win. Suffice to say I have got decent coin on the Saints to beat the Eagles.Scollop wrote: ↑Thu 10 Sep 2020 8:04amHow much are you wagering on the mighty Sainters? Re: Team v Eagles
Surely we learnt from the Geelong match that style doesn't work against a good defence. In fact, after a little while, it doesn't even work very well against a not so good defence.Teflon wrote: ↑Wed 09 Sep 2020 9:39pmAgree if we play that way we are stuffedskeptic wrote: ↑Wed 09 Sep 2020 8:31pmOne has to imagine that Battle goes back.George27 wrote: ↑Wed 09 Sep 2020 7:55pm The part I do not understand is that Butler, Kent, Lonie and Hind are all in. Oh, wait.......
But it will be the forward line at fault if we don't get creative and end up playing kick to kick with the Wet Coke defenders. Apparently.

Re: Team v Eagles
My GUESS is late Change - Coffield out.
Everyone seems to be forgetting Oscar Allen - a 3rd tall who plays forward and swaps with Nat in ruck when he goes forward.
Carlisle or Roberton to come in - I expect Battle to play wing allowing him to push forward or back.
Must dominate on Ball, even allowing for Nat, with what they have out, huge opportunity to lock in a finals spot for first time since 2011

If Coffield doesn’t play then Savage comes in.
If Carlisle has back issues again or Ratts thinks he is simply not playing well enough why aren’t Claravino or Austin getting a crack?
