EMERG: Dylan Roberton Shane Savage Jonathon Marsh Jake Carlisle
Well that is an emergencies list full of defenders. 3 of them tall. Late change anyone?

Re: Team v Eagles
Rain is forecast, but closer to the game if the rain does not look too bad I would expect one more tall defender to play.
Hawks game was meant to wet, but was dry.

Sounds like Coffs won't get up so probably a late withdrawal . Savage IMO to come in if Coff is out

Re: Team v Eagles
The part I do not understand is that Butler, Kent, Lonie and Hind are all in. With King, Battle, Membrey and ( for at least part of the game ) Marshall/Ryder up there, it will be very crowded !
I wonder if Hind will play on the wing . Or is Battle playing in defence ? Or both of the above !

Re: Team v Eagles
If Coff doesn't come up it will be Marsh who gets the nod. Savage and Robbo are listed to comply with AFL rules.
Marsh to the forward line and Battle to take Coffs spot is how it will roll.

Would really love to know what Carlisle has/hasn’t done.
We caught a break in the ruck with Hickey our and NicNat in!

One has to imagine that Battle goes back.George27 wrote: ↑Wed 09 Sep 2020 7:55pm The part I do not understand is that Butler, Kent, Lonie and Hind are all in. With King, Battle, Membrey and ( for at least part of the game ) Marshall/Ryder up there, it will be very crowded !

Selection has been a mystery for me for a while. My concern is that the all signs point to a bomb it forward to King and let the small feast on the crumbs strategy.
Not one that I’m particularly found of

Re: Team v Eagles
Really concerned with our backline
WCE have the obvious Darling and Kennedy, but add Allen and Waterman and I think we are 1 short (literally) in defence
Maybe they are banking on a wet slippery track and if not late changes

Re: Team v Eagles
As always it will be the midfield that gets the job done and never a better time to take the win. Gaff and Kelly versus Steele and Ross so that contest could go either way. If we can get one more midfilder to stand up then things could swing in our favour. Enter Sincs. Time for him to be that player. He's been going ok and building to something so he should be excited about a Thursday showtime slot.terry smith rules wrote: ↑Wed 09 Sep 2020 8:43pm Really concerned with our backline

I don’t know where you got that from. He’s a worry and probably the man most likely to kick a bag. Needs a strong contested player on him. Maybe Battle

Re: Team v Eagles
No mystery, he is an emergency, which means he is capable to play, but not wanted in the team.
That with having to handle both Kennedy & Darling.
Howard gets one, Wilkie gets the other with maybe Battle as replacement if one is getting slaughtered.
