Christ. I don’t need the stress. What’s wrong with Coff? Fingers crossed he just rolled it.

But you would expect us to win comfortably against Port Adelaide and Richmond, eh Did? And we should have belted the Lions.

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
Why would you expect more, the Saints aren't a good team.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Congrats to 200 games, Geary and team.
Other than that,
Boy, Hawthorn at their lowest - Seven changes and down to two rotations, but We did it.
Sainters!
Hope Coffs ankle is Ok.

We looked pretty good the first half of the year. Raising expectations was probably a bad move.

i disagree. We are better than what we saw today. need to stop the long bombs and kick straighter but yes, if we make finals this year we are only making up numbers

JUST 5/10.
Far too many players out of form to be competitive leading into a period when we should be playing our best footy. Forward entries still a concern, with too many intercept marks.

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
Lol. Richmond was a lifetime ago, and Port feels like it the way we’ve been playing. I question exactly how much we’ve improved.!Hawks are utter rubbish with half a team. We didn’t pick a marquee recruit because he has a s*** attitude. Our form last 5 games indicates we’re well and truly tracking as a bottom 6 team currentlyTrev from the Bush wrote: ↑Sun 06 Sep 2020 4:25pmBut you would expect us to win comfortably against Port Adelaide and Richmond, eh Did? Carlisle, Membrey, King, and Dunston straight back in for the Eagles.
At least we live to fight another day.
And we've probably sealed our finals tickets today, I think.
Don't feel too bad - as I posted yesterday any team that has multiple premiership players like Breust, Shiels, Gunstan, and Frawley, and veterans like Scully and Wingard (6 200 game players) - was going to be tough to beat. We didn't beat the Box Hill Hawks today, we beat Hawthorn.
And at least we did beat them.
Nine wins for the season - we've already equaled our wins from last year in a shortened season. And our percentage is a hell of a lot better.

I’d love to see that level of effort again, wouldn’t you?

Re: Match Thread Saints vs Hawks
Nice positive outlook. I don't think we will see Marsh play many more games based on today and I didn't release Abbott was playing until his goal so there is plenty o better players coming back insamuraisaint wrote: ↑Sun 06 Sep 2020 4:29pm Carlisle, Membrey, King, and Dunston straight back in for the Eagles.

First win in September in some years.
Got it done. Should have got it done last week.
Good teams don't drop games like that.
Come out and smash West Coast on Thursday.

I think Brad Johnson who may know something about forward play said something very similar.Trev from the Bush wrote: ↑Sun 06 Sep 2020 4:22pm Lonie seals it.
Feel free to pile onto him (not that you need my encouragement) but he is a ver smart footballer. If his team mates were as smart as him he would be even better and we would be a better team.
He should hold his spot easily

Our esteemed dictator had a chance to nip that in the bud with BLM. But he allowed it and left himself in a compromised position.
