Probably the correct decision under the circumstances - Max has looked exhausted and struggled to see the game out last week. He also would've had to have played on James Frawley this afternoon which would have sorely tested him.

I am actually a bit glad that Ratts has decided to rest Max - and Membrey and Carlisle - as all of those players haven't been at their best recently and all have looked like they needed to be rested.

We will need them cherry ripe for finals.

I don't know if it is raining up there at the moment, but if it is going shorter will be an advantage.

Hawthorn got beaten by a team that hadn’t won a game in over a year 5 days ago, if we don’t smash them then we’re not being serious.

I don’t want to see u cruise to a 4 goal win like against Essendon, we need to go at 100% for 100% of the game and grind them into the dirt.
