Very much depends on what he's on now. Is it a 25% pay rise or 50%. I'd imagine he was already in the Top dozen, I imagine his management will be requesting a pay commensurate with Top 5, if not Top 3 & this year certainly #1. Great time to negotiate in such a bad time.

If I were Steele I'd be looking at what the likes of DH and Hill are on compared to their output, and then asking for a few 100k more. How could the club say 'no' with straight face?

Totally agree. It's why we are struggling to beat a side like the Dees with 6 spuds changed out in one week.
