No one player is responsible for that pathetic loss
It was just a s*** all round team performance coaches included
You’re boy can’t hide Devil
7 years elite??????????????
Go grab your stats
He is having an ordinary patch for sure but he just as likely shut you up next week and the week after that ......
That loss though was a team effort - players can't hide nor can the coaches
7 years ?????? FFS he’s still inconsistent
Steele is pantsing him week in week out
Stop making excuses it’s the pathetic St Kilda mentality and why we have 1 flag and are laughed at
“He’ll be better next week....or the week after,,..”
Tonight mattered
Tonight we needed our “weapon” to fire
Hill gave something .....Jacky boy gave sweet FA
Very very tradeable
Firstly it is nice to be involved in another close game. years ago we would have been smashed. No one should blame King, he got out played by May who was BOG for mine. the problem came from the continual long bomb into fifty and not changing this approach which i put on Ratten. he is the coach after all. We were also 2.5 at one stage from memory, missing very gettable shots. that where we lost it.
I am done - Just DONE
- St Kilda supporters bagging a kid still eligible for a Rising Star Award
- Game plans that are so predictable
- Nothing to look forward to in 2020 - so what if we make the finals - we are pretenders this year
- WE HAVE BEEN CATFISHED - St Kilda first half of the season is the 18 yo on Camera - the latter part of the season - the overweight Guy who was pretending using a filter! And yet we send them money!
I am over it - /end rant

It’s not Kings fault.
He had a bad night - it happens.
But why didn’t coaches move him and why did team mates keep bombing it on his head?
He is a kid and will be a star.
Blame coaches and senior players.
No way, the so called bombing on 4 occasions were marking sitters by King.
Agree Ratts stuffed up by not dragging him sooner and getting Battle down there.
King should be the icing on the cake this year NOT the great white hope he’s a kid
Membrey escapes scrutiny- very gettable goals close range when it mattered

In fairness to our bombing midfielders, they look up see no movement. So what are they supposed to do?
But our forwards appear to all cluster inside 20 of goal
I’m not sure they’re being instructed to move
The Cats just sat ba k and picked us off as we bombed
Melb did it tonight
Stupid stupid forward 50 coaching - who is it?? Anyone know???

Looking for positives so I can sleep better tonight.
Hill was very good.
Steel Again.
That is all I can think of.
Um... no injuries. Butler took a lovely mark. Wilkie is cool under pressure, and is a great pickup as a rookie. The weather was lovely in Melbourne today. Tomorrow is Sunday.
I think we can also say that Rowan Marshall is on his way to being an awesome player.

Yeah feel similar
We’ve been worked out for sure and no plan B
I feel so sorry for King in a top side he’d be a jet and they wouldn’t be asking him to save us every game

Give us a trade scenario?
Not according to you he’s elite?????
Waste of time
Stupid move to leave Jake Carlisle out.....with Max getting monstered by May, would have been a good option to put Jake down there for a while - I'm just gutted by tonight's performance - you can't be taken seriously when you lose to sides like Melbourne and it's a worry that we've been worked out by a few teams already - we were not able to play our game at any stage tonight

I just want Brett Ratten to come out and say we were putrid going forward that’s not our game plan then I’ll feel better cause I’ll know they get it but I don’t hold my breath

Yep agree. Members also cost us too. Very much and should be roasted.
Kingy has an excuse for this year but if he's still dropping sitters and shanking setshots next year then we should be very concerned. His basic skill errors are cringeworthy at the moment though.
Max is 19 years old, playing his first season of AFL and coming up week after week against much stronger bodies than his......give the kid a break, it's not his fault we lost
