Happy with that last centre clearance , though .

The thing I love about this forum is just the thought that some people might re-read their posts the morning after the game. And trying to calculate how many really mean what they posted and how many are really embarrassed.

One of the best halves of footy from Saints midfielder - and I've seen some greats. He has "willed" us back in it. It's up to others to respond.

Melbourne are playing the bigger ground very smartly. Chip go slow and make us work. Thankfully we got a couple of good late goals to go into the break with some momentum. Jack Steele is a machine!st.byron wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 9:32pmYep. And pressing up when we get it in defence giving us sfa options to create flow and run.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 9:31pm Being out coached by Melbourne, as the employing the tactics as Geelong did against us. The boys have obviously been affected by the Cho. The monotone drone has demotivated quite a few of them in that first half
Hopefully his boring vanilla talks are out of their heads for the second half

Far out we are better than this.
First ten minutes of that second quarter were rubbish.
Made the most of some chances.

Let’s face facts we are playing Shyte
IF this side wants to be a finals side and not just a few game wonders team it’s now time to step up
1. Have to get a forward system going
2. Win centre clearance and it’s brings out tall fwds into dangerous territory
3. Have to take the game on - we play stagnant we are dead
4, if Melb do their slow build ups then man up don’t allow them to chip around with zero pressure - they are not that good and will turn it over

Surely we can't be as bad in this 2nd half
Lucky to be this close even given that we have had more scoring shots
Boys need to fire up

It's almost as if the ball force callapses his elbows inwards.

Yeah see I couldn’t give a toss about drivel like that I just like good footy comment and people to have an opinion and not be spineless fence sitters but each to their own I sposeTrev from the Bush wrote: ↑Sat 29 Aug 2020 9:43pm The thing I love about this forum is just the thought that some people might re-read their posts the morning after the game. Or are you suggesting we are playing really well and shouldn’t be critical???

We are struggling against a lower side...they have improved..they bought in 6 players for this game and they look slick.
If we manage to pull this off ..... I'll be more than happy.

I just said something similar
As if when the ball hits it momentarily dislocates his shoulder
