Thought it may be of interest to some. ”
Thanks bergsone. It certainly is of interest to me at least.

Re: 1966 away game dressing room picture from bergsone
I love photos from this period and before because they capture more of the truth about the subject. Cameras weren't so ubiquitous that everyone -- like today -- is constantly aware of their presence and has a 'camera smile' they put on when they know they're being observed.
Good find, Kosi.

Great photo. Carl Ditterich(susp), Des Kennedy(inj) and Kevin Roberts(inj) all missed playing in the grand final side.

Absolute classic brings back memories of my playing days at opposition venues cold showers cramped spaces but hanging with mates didn't seem to bother you too much especially if you had a win

Ross Oakley ( not pictured ) also was injured and missed the grand final ( same happened to him in 65). We were actually far from full strength in our premiership game .
Really tough on those blokes who missed out on being Premiership heroes.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
