Well done, but he needs to follow up with a good game against the Lions. I hope Bytel plays well enough to get a nomination this season too.

And remember , he had played hardly any footy in the 2 seasons prior to this ,through injury.
Bytel is in a similar position - no footy last season.

You can forgive a bloke for having an opinion on a guy that hasn't debuted in AFL but I'm not sure what to make of a bloke that thinks a player like Hill is useless and should be dropped.

This is very true. It is a nice little feather in his cap & a fillip for the Club. I do understand the sentiment by S*K*, whilst not the greatest game to ever receive a nomination, it is certainly exciting for St Kilda and the supporters that Max has so much scope to improve.

Rowell, Anderson and Rankin have played better games to date but there's no ceiling on Max.
