Re: Votes v Dons
I’d love to see DownAtThe Junction do his Impact Scores for our game against the Dons. A few have mentioned how even the contribution was. I’m happy to go a little left field with my votes.

Membrey was good, Bytel, Seb and Sincs and Jack Steele were all ok, but I think Long was our second best backman. Longy loves to contest and his defending was very good. Not sure what game people are watching, but his disposal and decision making also important in the game against the druggies

I've watched the game again and I think I might have short changed Coff.Scollop wrote: ↑Mon 17 Aug 2020 4:31pm I’d love to see DownAtThe Junction do his Impact Scores for our game against the Dons. Re: Votes v Dons
Are you giving Coff best on or Ryder? At this point I have you voting for Ryder as being best.

Re: Votes v Dons
5. Ryder (probably the only 4 quarter effort from our players)
4. Marshall
3. Jones
2. Coff
1. Billings
Had to mark the midfield down a bit as they let Essendon run all over them in the third.

Re: Votes v Dons
In a lacklustre game there was no individual player that stood out for me but I felt ZJ had the greatest impact with his fierce attack on the ball - while the consensus is that Jack Steele become the next skipper, I wouldn't mind at all if Zak got the job, he leads from the front and can't help but inspire his team mates on game day, he's the Saints' most aggressive, attacking player!!

Hi Y'all votes to MC Ben and DJ Hunter for best handshake routine from defenders - who don't get to celebrate goals. Dermy award leaders at this point.

Props, Sainter Dad - even when the top 5 are different or different order from the 5 I picked, I always find myself nodding with the results thrown up from this thread.

Re: Votes v Dons
It is quite good, sometimes votes given can make you shake your head. To give Ross a vote is intriguing. He's a good player but unless it's an encouragement award from a fish n chip shop, it really is taking the p155.

We should go to a game together one day so I can teach you about the non TV version of footy.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Wed 19 Aug 2020 9:59pmIt is quite good, sometimes votes given can make you shake your head. Ahhh, so you were up there watching it live? If not, then the one vote to Ross can only be described as mischievous.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Thu 20 Aug 2020 7:27amWe should go to a game together one day so I can teach you about the non TV version of footy.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Wed 19 Aug 2020 9:59pmIt is quite good, sometimes votes given can make you shake your head. Interesting, that some genuine St Kilda supporters were there yet could not squeeze him in.
I'd love to enjoy your wisdom at a match but it appears you'll be busy educating the rest on this forum. I can organise a guest pass for you.

Re: Votes v Dons
It's possible the lack of votes from fans in an internet enclave is due to hatred and group think, but mosy likely due to never having played or coached the game thus lacking complete football knowledge. I can get you into the change rooms sometime if you like.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Thu 20 Aug 2020 8:18amAhhh, so you were up there watching it live? I find that offer completely inappropriate.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Thu 20 Aug 2020 8:53amIt's possible the lack of votes from fans in an internet enclave is due to hatred and group think, but mosy likely due to never having played or coached the game thus lacking complete football knowledge. I don't know who gave him a vote but it was not entirely left field. He actually had 16 possessions which was more than 16 of his fellow team mates. Your analogy is a bit harsh imho.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Wed 19 Aug 2020 9:59pmIt is quite good, sometimes votes given can make you shake your head. To give Ross a vote is intriguing. We all know what that vote was given, no one needs to dance around itGhost Like wrote: ↑Wed 19 Aug 2020 9:59pmIt is quite good, sometimes votes given can make you shake your head. He hasn't received any coaches votes this season either after getting 35 last year, so it seems it's not just "an internet enclave" that can see where he's at.
According to SK, "never having played or coached the game thus lacking complete football knowledge" is how he sums up Ratts
But then again, he's got a worse batting average than Chris Martin, so I don't know why we give any time to this troll! haha

You never struck me as a stats man saynta. Using that rule of thumb, he played a better game than Ryder & Marshall and an infinitely better game than King. Yet still 7 deserved votes in front of him.saynta wrote: ↑Thu 20 Aug 2020 1:12pmI don't know who gave him a vote but it was not entirely left field. The vote for Ross wasn't about his 16 possessions.

Re: Votes v Dons
No. all I am saying is that the vote given him was not unreasonable. His game wasn't piss poor and was certainly an improvement. As i stated above, not entirely left field.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Thu 20 Aug 2020 2:58pmYou never struck me as a stats man saynta.
