Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 11 2020
Didn’t expect much from our fellas tonight. Four day turn around. Undermanned in the middle. If we lose so be it. Want to win of course but the bigger picture is that we have been so much better this year than expected. Still lots of improvement to come and yes we need more quality in the midfield. Our backline looks good and forward line has lots of quality. Need one or two more quality mids. And this should be Geary’s last year as captain.

Hows the push from Rohan
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....

So Dougal is getting a bath. Wilkie and Carlie rag dolled.

They are just scoring every time they go inside.

Old habits - 6 handballs before a kick. Usually lose it with the 4th handball.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 11 2020
Geelong just too experienced, gonna be a 6 goal loss, hopefully we can bounce back against the Bombers.
Ryder in for Geary would have been nice, getting killed in the ruck/centre.
All the tricks that we’ve been getting away with the last month won’t fly against Geelong.

Why didn't Hill try to spoil?

And some ‘experts’ on here were claiming there’s nothing wrong with Hill being soft

Geelong defender back to the ball wraps Butler up without the ball play on.

Nah we're cooked.
The last month is catching up with us.
Flat footed and gassed everywhere.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Cats Round 11 2020
The guys are knackered and playing like it. Just been too much travel and too much footy. We got the short end of the stick with the bye. Ideal would've been this round. But we are the last team considered when the afl talk fairness.
Just hope we can keep it respectable but not going to be hard on the fellas for this.
