No. Just a little tired of those who insist Long is an automatic selection based on half a dozen games this year.Scollop wrote: ↑Thu 06 Aug 2020 9:53pmI think you like familiarity and you got used to seeing Savage play. Right there is why Coffield is in the team and Savage isn’t

I wish our King could clunk them like his brother.
This was my father's belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf--
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns Round 10 2020
The efforts just not there.
Too many times they’re sitting back waiting for someone else to put on the tackle, smother, or run hard. And trying to be too fancy too often.
We’re in big trouble if we don’t pull our finger out.

You wouldn't want to play billiards against Butler. Can pot the ball from anywhere.

Has every single one of our inside 50s been a long bomb?

With that sort of thinking, you’d never have seen Max King this year. Coff would be without any confidence and playing out games with Sandringham last year. Izaac Rankin would’ve had to wait until next year to debutTrev from the Bush wrote: ↑Thu 06 Aug 2020 10:00pmNo. Just a little tired of those who insist Long is an automatic selection based on half a dozen games this year.Scollop wrote: ↑Thu 06 Aug 2020 9:53pmI think you like familiarity and you got used to seeing Savage play. It’s not about today or the next 3 weeks, it’s about playing guys into form who are going to be needed at the pointy end. Long’s upside and his impact in finals at his best is what Ratten is banking on. I back our current coach and not the bloke who preferred familiriaty and the safe option
