Coffield tracking in a similar direction but not quite there yet. Give him another 5 games or so.
Great to see them maturing together.
Hind has taken Lonies spot.
Cannot argue. Unfortunately for Parker, who tries his guts out, in a shortened season we need to replace him. Most likely with Long. Sinclair & Hind have grabbed their opportunity. Battle is very versatile in terms of position & size but is not safe, yet ahead of Marsh easily.

Ross is Sinclair's biggest threat but I do like how Jack has applied himself these two games. Perhaps he really is Captain Jack Sparrow???

The third quarter and the inability to really capitalise on the ruck dominance give Ratts something to work on - which is always giif to bring them back to earth

Now for Long to return to our back 6

Hind was very useful last week, his possessions not reflective of his work but this week the spoils arrived - and 2 clutch goals when we were under pressure to swing the contest

I thought Paton had the makings but he has matured across 20 games into what we see - exceptional

Clark, Coffield, Long and Paton

Hannebery is missed - hopefully the surgery goes well and he is pressing at the business end

Experience, skill and hands under Ryder and Marshall

So, given Long (a certainty) and Ross return who goes out?

Parker looked over awed but apart from that who is unlucky

Sinclair has been serviceable (and 2 sided)

The 3rd quarter may give the answers

Thing is with the 3rd quarters, our opposition have consistently come out with their most ferocious best - tonight Sydney came out a different team with a point to prove like Port last week - it was frenetic but we kept on them and made it ugly and hard for them however deep they dug - we wore them out and still found ways out and smacked them, where it hurts in the last quarters. Both time’s I was impressed by how we maintained pressure and seceded very little

Then Kent

Never give a chance to competition for your spot

The first to ever say that to me was Wally Grout when I was a kid - and it remains the case

I thought Parker did ok too
That mix up with him trying to do the team thing when his instinct would have been to blaze away and. If, confident, snap a beauty

Paton outstanding. Geary great forward. Hind best game for the club. Clark and Coff are just awesome. Battle nice game. Sincs was good. King. Wow. He's going to put smiles on our faces for years to come. Our backline ok without being great but again kept opp to a low score. Jones is so much fun to watch. Steele is our next Captain. Marshall and Ryder nice job lads. Oh yeah that Butler guy goes ok also.

The great Wally Grout ! Superb keeper . He was right too. Ask a Qld wicket keeper from the 80s, Peter Anderson about that !

Thought Savage was very good tonight. He is still a better player than Long IMO and a different type of player.

Tonight was our biggest win against the Swans since 1998! Nearly a generation ago.

I was at that game in 1998. SCG . We won by 101 points and Steven Sziller kicked 6.

That was the same as every other Swans v Saints game for the last 10 years

The better team starts well and opens up a lead.

The inferior team battles back, puts up a fight for a quarter but doesn't convert.

The better team blows them away with easy goals in the last quarter winning by more than 50 points.

It was nice to finally be the better team!!

Really liked Coffield, Clark, Hind, Steele, Jones, Butler, Hind, Gresham, Sinclair, King

King, Ryder & Marshall are all so well skilled for their size. Ryder is all silk.

With these three we literally have 3 talls who can play small - a mid who plays tall (Members) and a group of pacy smalls - Danger Danger Danger!

How do you match up to our forward 6????

And as noted elsewhere - we are the highest-scoring team in the league ATM.

Long in for Geary
Any of Ross/Kent/Lonie in for Parker/Battle/Ryder (if hand no good)

Savage earned the right to stay in ahead of Geary and long brings a better version of the same traits as Geary

Great win. Still disappointed with Hill - 15 possessions for $800k but I guess it was one of his better games for us. Put his body on the line a couple of times so improvement from last couple of weeks.
With the next 2-3 games, wouldnt be surprised to see some players rested.

Could be the last time we see Parker & Marsh IMO - they arent up to it.

Loving Sinclair's Mo, he's been good the last 2 weeks.

He's certainly different. Both are hard at it, no question on courage. Both can tackle. I believe Long will hurt more in tackling, pace, vision, marking and disposal efficiency.

Most likely
Parker has also been inaccurate.

Marsh has been swamped by so many forwards wanting a game.
