Ladder of hate
A simple concept not to be confused with the Baron’s excellent Ladder of Hate from Marching In.
Teams are rated on the length of time since our last win. Two weeks ago the top three teams were Port, Crows and Swans. Now Port and Crows are the bottom teams and we can send the Swans down to join them tomorrow.
Of the 17 teams, we have beaten 9 of them at the last attempt. Two weeks ago we had only beaten 7 at the last attempt.

Re: Ladder of hate
Tomorrow might be out of our scope, but Saturday, we will relegate them to the bottom.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Thu 30 Jul 2020 10:04pm A simple concept not to be confused with the Baron’s excellent Ladder of Hate from Marching In.

Re: Ladder of hate
Maybe look at it a fortnight ago? Previous form should mean nothing (but for us it has). Beating Sydney on Saturday should mean that we have got rid of three out of three bogey sides in under a month. Maybe make the finals this year (or not), but layering some serious base to which to launch.

I’m surprised by the Swans bit I guess I shouldn’t be.

Re: Ladder of hate
My only point of contention is that no list seems complete without those cheating sooky scumbags Freo. Personally prefer the Crows to them. The Fireman wrote: ↑Fri 31 Jul 2020 9:07pmyep.. spot on.. pretty much the same way all Saint supporters should be.

Re: Ladder of hate
I've always love beating South Melbourne/The Swans/Sydney actually. I remember going to the Lake Oval year after year and seeing us get absolutely thrashed.
Then Footscray. I remember a particularly bad run of losses at the Western Oval during the late 70s .
Probably Port next obscurely.
I have been a very happy man this season.

Re: Ladder of hate
Can you show us what that ladder looked like before the Adelaide game?
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
