Re: Hunter Clark.
It's not just silk.
He's probably the toughest player we have - mentally. He never shies away from it, whether physically or mentally in terms of trusting himself and facing challenges or risks.

It’s more than that though...
He was a beast tonight. Tough as they get and produced when it mattered.

Re: Hunter Clark.
Moments of pure magic tonight. He's calm and collected in a crowd and that's a skill we're seriously lacking.
Love watching the guy play.

And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children's teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.

He's our Pendlebury. Will get better, sets a high standard for himself & expectations upon his team mates. Players will follow him.

He is a bit of an enigma. His spacial awareness and balance is so acute, it looks flukish. But he is no fluke. He's a freak.

Re: Hunter Clark.
I love the way he is playing.
But he plays in the back line so well Ratts problem is if he moves into the midfield who takes his spot in defence
Roberton? Is it worth messing with someone who is playing so well and found his spot?
Options are a good problems.

to borrow a Yabby Jeans quote: Clark is a good driver in heavy traffic!!
Kid has class - very pendlebury like player but has that toughness about him.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

I think the plan all along has been for him to learn his trade in defence before letting him loose on the midfield.saints66 wrote: ↑Mon 27 Jul 2020 10:03am I love the way he is playing.

Injuries to Ross, Hannebery, Dunstan may force the club’s hand earlier than they wanted to.
