What would I know
What would I know all the way in Victoria but I believe we are about to have a great game and win tonight. We have had good to great periods and/or quarters and halves so far this season but never a full match. This appears to be our biggest challenge, top of the ladder Port. I don’t think Port is the benchmark and aren’t as good as Collingwood who we failed miserably against. That needs to be referenced to the players to ensure we are totally switched on and I have a feeling for some reason this will be the win and performance when we get taken seriously as a contender. Perhaps we are too young to be a contender but with so few injuries in this crazy season perhaps we can contend. I have a feeling we have our most committed and comprehensive effort and best result tonight. But what would I know

Re: What would I know
Great post Goose. I always felt, with the new players and coach, that this year would be one of doing the ground work. We’ll have some ups and downs along the way but it’s setting us up for something bigger in the next year or two.
Looking at the way we are playing we’re going to lose a few games but when we’re on we are going to scare a few sides. At some point it will click, we’ll put four quarters together and show ourselves and the rest of the comp how good we can be.
I’d love that to be tonight.

Clicking tonight would be awesome. I’m with you we will lose games that will make us angry as fans this year but this little period could be great if we have Savage, Webster, Robbo, Bytel etc to come in for tired players

Re: What would I know
Would help us enormously if PA went in a little complacent - a home game with at least some crowd, and "only" the Saints. We need to not have a good start but not be a long way in front at quarter time or half time as well - we seem to mentally take the foot off the pedal when we are in that position....

Aldi Pretzels? No thanks. What's wrong with shopping in an Aussie store?johnearljames wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 3:06pm Massive chance tonight.

Agree, have never shopped at an Aldi and have no plan to commence.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 3:17pmAldi Pretzels? No thanks. What's wrong with shopping in an Aussie store?johnearljames wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 3:06pm Massive chance tonight.

Kaufland recently pulled the pin on opening here also.
At least most Aldi generic products are co-manufactured in Australia by Australian Companies.

Re: What would I know
Shop at Coles and Aldi. Some Aldi products I prefer over Coles and Woolworths. Lots of Aldi products are made in Australia and provide tons of jobs. Plus they keep Coles and Woolies honest who still rip us off.saynta wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 3:17pmAldi Pretzels? No thanks. I don't mind a few $ going to Aldi. Better our German allies and friends than the CCP.

PA won't take us lightly. We showed we can dominate, like Maddie's Match, so Hinckley will show a bit of that visionTrue Believer wrote: ↑Sat 25 Jul 2020 2:42pm Would help us enormously if PA went in a little complacent - a home game with at least some crowd, and "only" the Saints. I just don't want to shop in a foreign owned store and a German one at that.

Re: What would I know
but where are the pretzels made?
I used to enjoy a particular band of pretzels, the absolute best
Until i realised they were manufactured in a place that cares nothing about human rights
and flies in the face of International Law
Apartheid Pretzels, they're now known as - you used to have the get them early, but now no one buys them
Such a great shame
but hey they're only pretzels
