Saints Heading for Noosa

Post: # 1850717Post StPeter »

Just reported on channel 7 news that St KIlda will be likely going to a hub in Noosa but some games still might be in Melbourne next week.

So maybe our game next week against Geelong might still be in Melbourne.

How does that work seeing St Kilda have already played them all except Essendon?

Does that really make sense - we have played all of those teams except Essendon. I suppose there is the 2 Qld teams and maybe Sydney

It seems we will have lots of travel if we are travelling from Noosa to Sydney and Brisbane to play our games.

We have already played North Melbourne, Western Bulldogs, Richmond and Carlton from Melbourne.
.
So that leaves only Essendon, Gold Coast
But Adelaide, Port Adelaide, Sydney & GWS will joining us too.

Seems like Geelong game is off.
It is get out of Dan's incompetence before other states refuse Victorian clubs.

12 teams in the Gold Coast hub, 6 teams in the Sydney hub.
No-one left in Dan's Victoria.
Get out while you can.
Maybe the grand final will be played in Darwin.

This is NOT a holiday.
It is WORK.
It's what the players get paid for.

Players don't have to go, BUT
No conscientious objectors please.

facilities and grounds (noosa tigers) are poor to say the least - Im betting they were given an offer they couldnt refuse
Maroochydore would have been better accommodation, training and grounds
Melb Storm are already at the new sport facilities at Kawana ( and beating the roosters last night they have clearly settled straight away)

My immediate thought tho was to be based in Townsville - they have played up there several times already
Accommodation, training facilities, and "home based teams" could host visiting sides two games a weekend plus a mid week

Blues no longer going to Noosa - insufficient facilities apparently.
Now going to Gold Coast
Seems we have Noosa to ourselves.

So why the F*** would we want to go somewhere that has crap facilities?

We saw what that did when we were at Seaford.

Saying that, the walk around the National Park from Noosa beach is amazing and could cure depression in almost anyone I reckon. It’s a beautiful place.

Sam Fisher and B J Goddard must wish they were still playing. Do we have any other scratch golfers?
