Because we’re now playing at Marvel and not the MCG, I think that only helps us

This does help us and I reckon it’s great that we get an extended break before Round 6 too
Strange old season this...They’ll probably be soon announcing football at Princess Park, Moorabbin and other suburban grounds like Collingwood’s Victoria Park
Could be an AFL conspiracy to help Collingwood win the flag

Speaking of 'genius', have you figured out that 'metro' (cities) are a part of 'national' (the country) yet? Can you run your TV numbers by me one more time please?Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 2:36pmPure genius.

Ratings went down a further 17% round 4. I don't think it hurt that both Carlton and we are playing some pretty exciting / watchable footy at the moment. Certainly more watchable than some of the dour scraps that went on over the weekend.

I would have rather seen us play the G. See if the legs can match a young side on a wider grd.

You’d better call Channel 7 and Foxtel, they seem to be unaware.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 2:40pmRatings went down a further 17% round 4. Foxtel said on Monday its ratings were up 21 per cent year-on-year across the group's linear and video on demand platforms, including Kayo, the streaming service which has been a key driver of the growth.
Seven said its average metro audience nationally was 573,000 - up 8.7 per cent on last year. The average Melbourne audience was 318,000 – 15.7 per cent up on last year. There had also been a notable bounce in Sydney, averaging 38,000 - up 20.2 per cent - and in Brisbane, averaging 38,000, up 38.4 per cent.

Go easy on him Kosi, the poor bugger has only just worked out that Metro ratings count towards the National ratings!kosifantutti wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 6:53pmYou’d better call Channel 7 and Foxtel, they seem to be unaware.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 2:40pmRatings went down a further 17% round 4. Re: Hello prime-time and Marvel!
You've mads the same mistake Cuddles ❤❤❤ made. The figures are comparing round 1 to last year and round 1 had a good TV audience for two main reasons, no one could attend the footy so watching the game on TV was the only option. The second reason was the lockdown had staved footy fans so there was increased engagement for the restart.kosifantutti wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 6:53pmYou’d better call Channel 7 and Foxtel, they seem to be unaware.Secret Kiel wrote: ↑Mon 29 Jun 2020 2:40pmRatings went down a further 17% round 4. The figures from round 1 have trended down significantly, between round 2 and 3 the numbers went down by a million.

Ha yeah exactly - the million turning off are West Australian (WC & Freo) and Adelaide supporters - that would account for it
