Shame the AFL have given Collingwood such a huge advantage heading into next round. I reckon we were a good chance if it wasn’t for the standard Collingwood leg up.

If we had been able to hang on against North we would be second on the ladder.

If you want unbiased reporting go hang out on the generic match day BF thread
Because he uses the bad ones that go against us as proof of some kind of elaborate umpiring conspiracy against us, conveniently ignoring all the times it goes our way.

That's his best game for us for quite a few seasons.

Some of those end to end plays reminded me of 2004 - when footy was fun and exciting!

Wilkie I think Howard taking Naughton. Great pick up Howard.

Yeah looks like he positions himself to spoil and marking is his second preference. Will improve.

One of the most encouraging things is that we had a good, balanced level of contributors.

Many of our best only played above average. We've much room to improve and can play even better.

Very exciting.

Why does admin allow this halfwit to spam the match day thread every match?
because free speech is allowed AND an opinion is allowed AND it reflects what I hear in a footy crowd around me at every match I attend and therefore is a valid point of view (whether your deem it correct or not) AND most importantly there is not a rule that states that posters must always post opinions that align perfectly with what Joffa Burns thinks. Hopefully that answers your question.

By the way ... take a 1 day holiday.

Hill relatively quiet as well

Not sure about Geary in the forward line - looks like Paton has taken his spot down back - could be Gearys last year

Would prefer Battle in over Geary if that's where they are going to play him

Yet there are many things you hear at the footy which aren’t allowed on here...

A touch harsh BFUSA. I doubt anything Joffa Burns said would have him removed from the football or even had someone text his location.

This is my match summary especially those that continually bag the recruitment of Zac Jones, Dan Hannerbury and Dan Butler.
You guys have NFI.
Could throw in Paddy Ryder who gives us flexibility.

You could also throw in Hill and Dougal.

It's beginning to look like recruiting GENIUS!

Gears got a heavy head knock early on. SO THEY MOVED HIM FORWARD.

Geary went forward to tag Johannisen so says the papers. Did a good job too.
