The sound engineer should be from the home team. There can be some noise for opposition team goal but not as much.

Must say I disliked the quiet games with no sound effects - done well it’s a great addition

I haven’t watched wrestling since I was a kid but still love listening to interviews with the characters from that era.

Apparently in recent times... WWE have tried running events to empty arenas for television. The general consensus has been that whilst the athletic performances of the wrestlers has been first rate, ratings have plummeted and they think that the WWE is unable to overcome that lack of atmosphere created due no crowds.

Apparently feeding off the crowd energy is a major way they get performers over one way or another.

What a joke. Who needs a crowd to play? I never did. Most sports out there don't even have a crowd! How unprofessional needing a crowd to play well.
And TV crowd noise? Gotta laugh. "Fake" certainly is the word. I watch it on mute anyway. Can't stand the commentators these days, they don't actually call the game, too busy crapping on about other things. I feel for the blind people.

I saw a bit of the NRL with it and it wasn’t too bad. Not really noticeable, just adds some white noise to offset the silence, which was very noticeable in round 1.
