Absolutely!!!

No, it's not talking about to lock down or not, or who to lock down or not, or the economic effects of doing so (or not).

What it is talking about is the big picture going forward... for humanity. (Rodger <swoon> loves big pictures. )

Maybe, just maybe, this pandemic (or the ones that will most likely follow)
will finally force the world (well, the wealthy nations actually)
to wake the hell up,
and final-bloody-ly realise that as members of the human race,
we're all in this together.

Great to see Robbo', and also the league's best small forward shut down specialist, both back for us.

Also great that Joe King will debut (though we should start him on a flank or in a pocket),
Hanners will (virtually, it seems) debut,
and that Paton retained a spot.
Same for desertsaint’s man Dunstan - reward for effort.

Not sure how Kent got a place though???

We can spare you.

Can only assume the club is planning on settling the team. We're getting out of the way early Kent's one good game in six, before he loses form and/or gets injured, so we can drop him for Round 2. Would still be several blokes we'd love to see in there other than him. (At least they didn't pick MacKenzie, Newnes or One Man Short ).

How the hell does Battle not get a gig????? Battle in, Kent out, and we look much much better.

And where are Snowy and Jimmy the cat Webster???

Also great that The Marshall has been named in his appropriate position. Stay injury free, and we reckon he'll be the league's No 1 ruckman by season's end. You heard it here second. (If we end up having a season, that is. )


Only watched a bit of the game last night. So weird. So wrong, with no crowd. Great being able to hear the scumpires clearly though.

And one other Corona plus - they're going to leave the Dockedland’s roof permanently open for the duration.

Allowing for how little of the game we saw (because no Saints means no interest), one thing that stood out was how poor kicks are most of Carlscum's leading players. Had heard Cripps' kicking wasn't great... it sure ain't. Reckon people should go a bit easy on Saynta’s man Seb...

Vaas update:
Yes, Vaas has indeed been very busy on the ground in Wutan. With a ‘problem solving’ reputation like Vaas’, it’s no wonder that Whinnie The Pooh asked him for assistance. All those Wutan towers. All chock full of locked down proles’ and Corona virus. Yuck!

So Vaas has been overseeing the sealing and fumigation of those nasty and troublesome Wutan towers. Vaas believes that with the Corona, all the big guns need to be pulled out.

Or in this case – big flamethrowers.





This is the real reason the China Crisis peeled off (burnt off, actually) so quickly. Vaas is an unsung hero. He did what needed to be done for no fee at all. (Just personal pleasure. )

As for sailing around Cape Horn. That report is not true. Surprising to some maybe, but Vaas is actually not too keen on water – extinguishes those cleansing flames.


And on another positive(maybe) note – word is that the penguini will soon be coming (definitely) to Saintsational to lighten things up (maybe).
