1990 - such a long time ago - Fitzroy were still alive then!!
Anyhow - here's an easy one:
Raph and X - how many games have they played together since Raph joined the Saints?
PS Not as many as we would have liked I'm suggesting.

Which late saints player was "Nuts" Coventry referring to in this quote:
"He was a fox. You never knew what he would do next. He could soar high with rare judgment and I know how it felt to have him propelling off my shoulders. When the pressure was on him he could skittle you in approved AIF style. But he was always manly and fair. He could accompany ever bump with a smile and a cheery remark. Whenever I meet him, he still has that invectious grin."

Well.....
Gordon Coventry played for the wobbles in 1920's and 1930's - kicked a few goals I believe. The same era as our legend Bill Mohr.
So I am guessing we are looking for a legendary fullback.
Maybe Bill Cubbins?
"Possibly the finest full-back of his era Cubbins had a stormy VFL career and had several stints with the Saints. He made his debut in 1915 but then enlisted in the army even though he was under age. He returned to St Kilda in 1919 and was made club captain for 1921-22. Cubbins was deputy to Dave McNamara in 1923 but again was captain in 1925. He crossed to Warrnambool in 1928 and had a third stint as captain of St Kilda in 1929-30. Cubbins also coached the Saints in 1930 but crossed to Footscray as captain-coach in 1930. A Victorian representative six times Cubbins was a splendid mark and a glorious long kick. Once during a spell with St Kilda he fell out with the committee and was dropped to the Reserves. He reacted by kicking 22 goals in the one match."

A lucky guess.
It's interesting reading stuff about the players of earlier times - there were just as many characters back then as there is now.
The next Q:
Everyone knows that Barry Breen kicked the winning point in 1966.
Who was the Saints player to kick the first goal of the 66 Grand Final?

Yes SaintBot - it was the Cowboy. Your turn.
Pretty safe bet when you know that he kicked half of our 10 goals on that famous day. The 3 minute mark of Q1.
Kevin "Cowboy" Neale - Saints legend.
