Still reckon we’ve picked the team wrong.

North look really dangerous going forward and both goals have come from marks but we’re way better in the middle

Disposal from some usual offenders has slowed us down
Yeah we look like the better team.

And yes, some of the usual offends are butchering it. Just look at Gresh’s attempt running straight at goal 25 metres out.

Gresh still playing selfish and flash footy. Runniing in from the wrong side for a right footer tries a banana

Had Dunny on his left who could have snapped on his preferred side

Not going to be a great team unless we play team footy and play the percentages

Hill off the shackles now, a delight to watch. We still can't kick though.

He’s quite Harvey like in the way he passes to the advantage of his forwards

Makes them go to the ball to their advantage

Ross should only be allowed to handball to Hill

In fairness though, he gets enough of it that he stills has a positive impact

Jumped up and took a great mark and landed awkwardly on his ankle almost writhing in pain.
After a minute or so down limped off with the trainers

Didn’t look like a break or dislocation or anything

Reckon he just strained it badly
Thanks mate!

We finally have a reliable pipeline from our HF/midfield region to our forwards in Hill. It's been a long time.

We look the much better team. I know we gave up a lot of goals in red time last season, maybe the shorter quarters are an advantage?

A very enjoyable first half to watch. Hannebery making excellent decisions and executing well. Brad Hill now up and about and it is a beautiful thing. Jones looks good but not great disposal. Billings 2 excellent goals. Defence working very well.

And the ruck combination working a treat.

And Ross. And Gresham.

Deplorable.

The 2020 difference is that we have better players around them now to mop it all up

Does anyone have a link to a good live stats website? The AFL website is putrid. They’ve got got players listed alphabetically.

Longy up and about but Gresh ruled out with a sore knee.

Not sure why

Good start Saints.
Agree with both comments, although our kicking for goal hasn't improved. Jade Gresham seemed to deliberately aim at the points at one stage.

The AFL site used to have the whole Match Centre on the opening page until a year ago and everything was a simple click for there. First they took it off the front page and didn't even provide a drop down link. Now, in order to get the stats you have to navigate in a weird way to reach the page.
