I played against them in under age footy teams. Can't remember if they were any good though.
They were good when I was there, although I played for the soccer team. Greg Healy, future Melbourne Captain, struggled to break into the 1st 18.

When I went to de la we had Barry Breen and Frankie Dimatina, plus a soon to be filth captain whose name has slipped my memory. Terry Waters, I think.
