Those MMM boys in the commentary box had a ball when he played...."Here comes the Carpet Snake"..."He's goin' bonkers...don't get him started....he's exploding...."
I didn't see the Saints much after '98. Did Pete Townsend from the Who play for the Saints? Who is the Rock n Roll dude at 2:15 congratulating Fraser G?

Thanks Jaxons, that was good for my soul. I've been pretty flat all day but this was a timely reminder of how good this bloke really was. His strength was one thing but he was one of the fastest big men I've ever seen.
Unfortunately these types don't grow on trees and we are unlikely to ever get another like him. Go the G Train!

He was a similar player to Buddy Franklin though obviously not at that level.
Big, strong, fast, agile booming left foot but not overly strong overhead.
I liked watching the G-train play, different cat but good player.
We had some bloody good players between 2002-2010.
The 03, 04, 05 era was probably the best footy to watch.

Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

In the summer recess you sometimes forget just how good AFL is.
Especially the attacking way we used to play under GT with Mullet Man strutting his stuff.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
