Go Sainters
The club has kicked arse.
As supporters, we have good reason to get excited.
We've recruited some quality, speed and skill.
We've got someone to mentor our up and coming ruckman.
Our list will bear little resemblance to 2019. We needed change. What we had was not going to get it done. .
We lost some players. I am sad about that.
But look at what we gained.
The club deserves much praise for how they handled themselves.
Can't wait for 2020.

Re: Go Sainters
Agree agree, but not sad about who we gave up. JS was a shadow of his best, Josh ok but there was something missing in the crunch and Blake is the prototype that just had one line of code wrong. Done good Mr Gallagher.

Re: Go Sainters
Great result by the team, they deserve a ton of credit. Potentially 7 new players (including Roberton and King) in our best 22 next year.
Go Saints

Re: Go Sainters
All said. We. We had to have a crack and make some changes. The club has done that.
Bruce was a good player but did struggle against the best opposition and did here some negatives. He was on good coin too. Howard is 4 years younger and could be better long term.
It will be painful to watch Jack Steven next year. No doubt he will get close to his best. Can only hope we got some good salary relief and his life moves in right direction
Acres. Potential potential. I don’t think he worked hard enough. This might be the kick guts he needed.

Re: Go Sainters
Hard to judge until next year
In
Hill - Overs
Zac Jones - slightly unders
Howard & Ryder - Unders
Butler - about right
Out
Jack Steven - clearly unders
Acres - part of a deal that was costly
Bruce - slight unders
Overall
Probably better than last years list... but not much
Bruce vs Howard
Hill vs Acres
Jones vs Steven
Ryder vs Longer/Pierce
Butler vs Armitage
Then you’ve got King, Bytel, Roberton
Yeah, better players
But we did lose a First and Second Rounder

Re: Go Sainters
Bookmarked for the same comparison for those picks without Hill, Howard and Ryder. Should I bother? In fact, I won't bother. Just ridiculous.B.M wrote: ↑Wed 16 Oct 2019 8:31pm Hard to judge until next year
