Acres was worth no more than the third rounder we got back.

Much better than the 2 first rounders Belly was asking for. Sometimes you need to pay overs to kick-start a rebuild. Not unhappy.

While I can understand that everyone is aggrieved at what we paid to get B. Hill, we have got ourselves a really, really good player.

The bloke runs all day. In fact he specialises in running his opponent off his feet.

He gets a lot of possessions and most of them are effective disposals.

Bradley Hill will make us a better footy team. He provides that polish and class to the midfield that we desperately need.

He was easily one of Fremantle's best players. Better than his brother IMO.

I hope that is a bit of soothing ointment.

What are we going to do about the fact that we've not learned anything from our drafting under Ross Lyon, when we simply didn't bring in top end drafting talent, and ended up with a list imbalance that effectively destroyed the club for years?
