Adelaide interviews Harvey for coach

Post: # 1828491Post Enrico_Misso »

Would be a great role for Harves.

Might also give him the experience to return to Moorabbin some day?

Hope Robert Harvey gets the job and proves to be a super coach.

St Kilda does not deserve to ever have Robert Harvey as coach, we had a chance and chose Ratten, earlier we chose Richardson ahead of Banger and before that Scott Waters.

Such an insult to a club legend, I hope he rubs it in our face.

LOL...he's more likely to be run out of town as they haven't made top 4 in his first season.

He's in Perth tonight as guest of the Western Saints, talking to WA members at 'The Saint' hotel- Innaloo (real suburb, not a joke  )

Is that close to Diarreah?

In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

I agree, but that’s not the full job, is it. There’s all sorts of things that come into it. Leadership, communication skills, the ability to motivate others.

Good luck to Banger, though, if he gets it. One of our greatest players, no doubt.

Very ironic if he’s the successful candidate given all the history.

I think your name would be lost on the current generation.

I assume it relates to the name of an old oval?

As far as I know, the locals still call it Peanut Farm.

(I am an ex-local and never met anyone who knew where the name came from. There is no way anybody ever grew peanuts on that sandy salty location. As a boy I earnt $2 to do the scoreboard.)

I just looked on google maps and it looks like an oval to me.

"The name of the reserve derives from the fact that it was indeed a peanut farm, during World War II. Apparently US soldiers were keen for fresh peanuts. There’s also a story that a hundred or more years ago the reserve was a small racecourse and the gambling currency was, yep, peanuts."
