umm as a forward you mostly get to dictate where the ball is going to go
As a back it means if you have to stand under the pack that is coming bearing down on top of you then thats what you get paid to do
But at least we wouldnt be having a discussion about should we keep him on our list
he'd be dead by now

You can have the ball put on your head as a forward or as a defender... it’s what KPPers do, contest for marks.

But for sheer amount of contact from behind, forwards are crunched by defenders more often.
