Trade Summary...
Well obviously a moving feast, but currently seems to be heading along the lines of:
Hill in for pick 5, with hopefully something back
Ryder in for a late pick out.
Bruce out for enough trade value to gain us both of Jones and Keath
Steven out for quite little. Late second rounder if we are lucky.
Newnes unknown. Hopefully someone will take him as a FA on a long enough contract to get us a second round pick.
SUMMARY
IN
Hill, Jones, Keath, Ryder and 2 or 3 second or third rounders to use in the draft.
OUT
Pick 5, Bruce, Steven, Pick 55 or later for Ryder.
Plus there may be some pick swapping to fine tune things.
Club to take Biggy, but this should be late and so pick cost should not be too much.
If Robbo can indeed return to play that will leave us in much better shape than we were in this year.
Hill is the most significant player amongst the INs.
With Keath and Robbo in, Battle would seem likely to move forward.
PS: Crouch I think is very unlikely. We would also have to give up trade value from next year which would rule us our of gaining B King.

My op was more about what I think is very likely to happen based on current information.
B King is purely speculative.
Also reading this morning that Crouch is off to GC.

Just need to add Steven and Newnes to the OUTS sRr, even though you mentioned them in the summary.

Re: Trade Summary...
I thought Alex Keath was off to the Dullbogs with Josh Bruce? There was a point early on when I thought that if Carlisle went - Keath was a must. Then with Carlisle staying I thought he'd be a nice to have. But now that Carlisle stays and Robbo is back in the mix - I think Keath's worth to us is more diminished.
Still annoyed we're going to lose Jack S for 7/8ths of fvck all. Somewhat baffled as to why we're effectively going to swap Josh Bruce for Zac Jones ... Pack crashing heart and soul KF for a dime a dozen not great kicking HB seems dumb to me

Talk this morning of Carlisle to Collingwood and Ricky Nixon has mentioned Carlton interested in Dunstan.Saintmatt wrote: ↑Tue 24 Sep 2019 10:28am I thought Alex Keath was off to the Dullbogs with Josh Bruce? I have mentioned Newnes, but have not yet counted him as an OUT, as I am yet to hear of a strong rumour of any club actually wanting to pick him up.
If he only moves on a cheap deal, then our compensation pick will be diminished.

I am just going on the rumours for the media which still have him more likely to join us than the Dogs. I suspect that the Saints are prepared to offer a longer contract and more $$ than the Dogs are.

Nixon tends to be highly speculative in his predictions. Not a source that I place much credence in. Pretty sure he also mentioned Dunstan a while back.
Moore looked terrific against GWS. Roughead has been a great pick up the Pies this year in defence. So unless they want to move Moore forward next year, I am not sure why they would want Carlisle.

Re: Trade Summary...
Keath only makes sense if we lost Carlisle. Since Carlisle is a better player it wouldn't make sense to voluntarily give him up.
Tall defensive stocks of Carlisle, Keath, Brown, Battle, Wilkie, Roberton, Austin, Joyce, Marsh and Clavarino is very excessive.

Keath can replace Brown at FB. Brown has been told later that the club will decide on him
Brown is a great stopper, but does not have a good offensive game. If Keath in, Brown will be let go.
Carlisle is better suited to CHB.
Battle looked good at CHB, but not so good at FB. Can play forward. If Bruce is traded, then Battle probably will play forward.
Clavarino is a long way off it, if ever.
Robbo is a weapon, but on the flank.
Wilkie too short for FB or CHB except as occasional game.
Austin and Marsh like Robbo both not yet suited to key position. Maybe if they muscle up more.
Joyce was being trialled up forward late in the season and looked quite good.

I would love to be wrong. He is only 20yrs 4mth old.
But in the games I saw him play this year he was one dimensional and underwhelming and at VFL level I would have liked to have seen more. Maybe I just saw the wrong games though.
