I agree, can't get everyone, and would be nice to have a couple of reasonable draft picks left to use. Hill will be good, but the others? Meh. Crouch is probably trying to bump up his contract at Adelaide, would be expensive, and we have a few of his type anyway who are near his standard.

Cheers Ted. I like coming here to see the latest trade news rather than search all over the net.

I think most people would agree that posting a summary of news and a link to the article is well received by members of this forum.

When summary is posted without link the actual message of the article can be somewhat blurred as it is the writers interpretation of what they have read.

Posting a link removes ambiguity and allows forum members to enjoy the article in its entirety.

This of course does not sit well with some members of the forum as it removes their ability to pretend to have access to club inside information.

A couple of old posters using this style were parkeysainter & tedtheodorelogan2018. It’s fair to suggest flamingo posts in a strikingly similar manner to the above two departed forum members.

Some might prefer the link, but others not that concerned about it. The post provides the rumour/news/ etc, and if the forumite wants to find out more, quite easy to check. If the forumite thinks it is rubbish, as are a lot of the media reports as well, just ignore it.
What if JRF posts the info using his array of contacts before the media does, should he state source=private?

Interesting comments coming from many quarters on here, and for quite some time too. Now, who cares where anyone gets their info from? I'm pretty sure the poster has never actually claimed to be an ITK??? but many comments are or could be concieved to be bullying.

At a time when we are asked to be mindful of mental health (and the consequences of), I think we can all understand that "yes" this person is a little short on details, but for Pete's sake, do we really need to go down the path of such vitriol? surely not

The mod made an effort to provide you an opportunity to avoid getting a permanent ban. The mod was helping you by posting th specific rule here in this thread. Have the respect and courtesy to read the post by BfUSA and stop playing the victim
