will the game be at geelong?

If at G WCE a better chance
It should be at the "G" as the rule is you get a home state final not a home ground final.
But the AFL is famous for being corrupt.

GWS playing at the Sydney showgrounds (Sydney Swans ground) tonight not in Western Sydney.

Tigers look way better than any other team right now.
Eagles the only ones who could possibly challenge.

Richmond look great but cannot miss at goal whilst Brisbane are worse than us at accuracy

In addition umpire 1 is beyond friendly in his decisions towards Richmond.

Don’t start me on the commentary ling and Darcy what a pair !,,

The last 4 seasons have given hope to any side who can make the 8. Has been a horrible time to be out (not even close) of the finals' action.

In the absence of a truly dominant couple of teams, it would be great to be amongst it. Let's hope the quality of the finals teams stay like this for a while.

That’s obvious.

We don’t need to be at Bitchmond’s level to play finals. We only needed to be at Essendon’s, and we were at the end of the day a fair way off that.

Ratts has canned our fake 9 win season, due to our pathetic percentage. As he said, we scraped in several games and it could easily have been a 6 win season

I love his brutal honesty and lack of fluffing over the truth like good for nothing Chomeister did for years.

I went to the game at the Gabba last night. Richmond were really good. Brisbane made lots of errors in the first quarter that belied nerves and they totally blew chances to put significant scoreboard pressure on the Tigers by missing plenty of very gettable shots. Kicking a few of them would certainly have shifted the momentum. The crowd never really got going.

‘‘Twas the first game I’ve been to for some time and I wont be hurrying back. Every single second there wasn’t footy being played there was concert level f****** advertising and blah blah blah fabricated attempts to whip the crowd up. Some 20 something year old woman screaming exhortations to cheer and interviewing people in the crowd with inane questions and a big fake grin all over her mug. Just appalling. The footy was good, everything else F minus. And $11.10 for a cup of chips and a bottle of water, advertised as ‘a deal’. LOL

Pretty poor football in most matches as demonstrated throughout most the season. The GWS v Dogs game was especially bad.

As usual, I look for the team with the best backline. It would still appear to be WC. The Geelong backline saw players fly against each other which resulted in spills for Collingwood goals. This, unfortunately, would never have happened ten years ago. Richmond lost half of its backline earlier in the year and is still vulnerable. Collingwood's backline is "serviceable" but lacks run. The GWS game style is "manic" (they are very badly coached) and won't lead anywhere except to defeat by Brisbane. Their backline has potential. I'm tipping a WCE v Brisbane GF where experience will probably win out.

Yep was great to watch high caliber players. But the total experience was not so great. Totally overrun by in your face concert pitch advertising and manufactured ‘atmosphere’. As a total experience I had a better time last week at the local footy semi final between Palm Beach Currumbin and Surfers Paradise. Love local footy.

Can't see that happening. Not even a second of time when the game wasn't on when there wasn't earsplitting ads or 'infomercials' going on.
Even goals are an excuse for an ad. Whenever Richmond kicked a goal we were treated to the sound of a plane taking off and a graphic of a plane flying through goalposts. Then the word GOAL in big letters followed by the Virgin Australia logo. Just garbage. Insulting actually. Same with the chick doing the around the ground 'entertainment'. Would cheerfully shove her mic down her throat.

The whole experience is so 'managed'. The siren sounds to end a quarter and instantly the ground announcer comes on to tell us the score. I know you f*****, I've been watching the game.
I'm sure there are people who think it's awesome and a majority perhaps who don't give a s***, but it spoils the whole experience for me. It's like being constantly assaulted and insulted. Just awful.

It's a shame mate. I'd quite like to go see the Lions and Giants this week to watch the footy, but can't stand all the gumph around the actual game. I suppose there are marketing types sitting in offices dreaming this shyte up, thinking it 'adds' to the experience, when in fact it just ruins it. Even the crowd interviews were along the lines of, "So Mike (10 year old kid), what have you got there?".......Mike says, "my Lachie Neal sign"........Announcer, "Love it Mike, isn't he awesome. You can get yours at the Lions shop at gate 2 for just $7.50." Twas relentless.

I'll finish up at the QAFL grand final instead.

To be honest after yesterday I have little interest in the finals now, other than hoping Richmond , Geelong and Collingwood lose.
